We had to do oral language task as a 4-3-2-1 task (4 minutes to speed read, 3 minutes to share choice, 2 minutes to share with someone else, 1 minute to to talk about their choices). We did this based on our flag choice for the new New Zealand. For my choice I chose the black-and-white Silver Fern because it tells me that their will be history behind it all

Choosing a Flag

Dear Ducati,
I was very interested to read that you had gathered together with Juanita, Afu, Jasmine and Courtney to decide on a good flag design for New Zealand. I think that the flag is a really important part of our national identity and should be chosen really carefully...
